WELCOME CROESO
Welcome to Bangor and District Practical Rifle and Pistol Club’s website. We are based in Bangor North Wales, and operate in the historic Vaynol tunnels, affording a great indoor shooting experience. As a family friendly club, we place great emphasis upon responsible ownership and maintaining a controlled environment in all our activities.
We are currently almost at full capacity for members, and may need to implement a waiting list, but we still welcome any new membership enquiries, and will do our best to accommodate you, however preference would be given to those who are not already members of another club.
With regard to Covid and other infectious diseases: sanitise your hands and all surfaces. Current vaccination is mandatory. Do not attend if you have any respiratory symptoms. All persons attend strictly at their own risk.
Radon detectors have been placed in the clubhouse and in each range. This is nothing to worry about.
Please do not interfere with the detectors in any way.
What We Do
Approved by the Home Office and affiliated with The National Rifle Association, the aim of the Bangor and District Practical Rifle and Pistol Club is to encourage and facilitate the development of and participation in the sport of target shooting.
As a family friendly club, we place great emphasis upon responsible ownership and maintaining a controlled environment in all our activities. We recognize the importance of introducing safe and responsible shooting to all and especially younger members. The ethos of the Club is to ensure that hunting and shooting traditions and opportunities remain intact.
We encourage and welcome all to the Club, and those new to the sport why not pull the trigger and give shooting a try!
